God Will Confirm These Teachings by Doing Miracles

If everything at my website (VividChristianity.com), including this page, says what God wants it to say (the words, the formatting, and even the timing), then He will confirm that for you by doing a miracle. When He tells me to make changes to an article, then once again it says what He wants it to say.

To allow God to confirm the teachings at this website, see my article called Miraculous Confirmation.

About This Ministry

In 1995 I started an online teaching ministry, and some time later the Lord told me to change the name to "Layhands.com." After about 15 years He told me to shut down Layhands.com.

In late 2018 the Lord said to create a new website called "Vivid Christianity," which I thought had a nice ring to it. But after I looked up the full definition of "vivid" (see the top of this page) I realized how appropriate it is.

Here's what the Lord has told me to expect when He sends us out to do our work of ministry:
  • Every Christian can heal the sick (see the free PDF of my book), so all Christians are Christian healers (but not "faith healers"); they just need to learn how divine healing works. That's exactly what my book teaches.

  • We'll meet with pastors and church leaders informally at their request to show them how miracles and divine healing work (i.e., we'll be "training the trainers"). Please be aware that God does not care about the worldly religious titles that you use for yourself, no matter how "spiritual" or formal they might sound, so we're not allowed to use your religious titles when addressing you.

  • We won't charge money for anything and we won't accept any donations, offerings, or large gifts.

  • We won't do any teaching, preaching, or praying in public, such as in church services, conferences, or seminars, or over the phone. We also won't do any instruction or teaching in a classroom setting or give certificates or licenses to anyone. Those are not our part to play in the great last-days revival, which is now getting fully underway (as of July 2025) and will end very, very soon at the pre-tribulational Rapture when Jesus will "snatch up" all Christians to meet Him in the clouds and take us back with Him into heaven (see the intended impact of my book).

  • We'll sometimes heal people out in the streets, in shopping malls, in people's homes, etc.

  • We won't open or close meetings with prayer. This has become such a habit or tradition throughout the church that it now feels improper not to open and close every meeting with prayer. Since the Lord is sending us out to these meetings, it's not necessary to pray before or after the meeting. When He told me that, He said "Legalism quenches miracles."

  • We won't give interviews or debate doctrines. It's not possible to go into the same level of scriptural detail in a discussion or debate as I do in my articles, so we would only be discussing a partial picture (which has no value for anyone). Notice that if God does the first miracle (above) for you, then doctrinal debates are completely unnecessary.

  • We'll give Jesus the glory for everything. "To him be the glory forever! Amen" (Romans 11:36).

Recommended Reading Order

This reading order is what the Lord said is best:
  1. Learn the requirements for receiving salvation so you can be certain that you're saved and going straight to heaven when you die, and understand why you need to be baptized by full immersion under water after you receive salvation:

  2. Learn how to discern the usual ways that the Lord guides us, and understand the seasons that He takes us through:

  3. Learn why it's important to be thorough, objective, and unbiased when you study the Bible in order to see the full picture for each doctrine or topic. If you don't study the Bible that way, then you might be missing important information, and you can't see the patterns that God has placed in Scripture. When you read or listen to anything by Christian pastors or teachers, try to discern how thoroughly (or not) they've studied the subject:

  4. God commands us to "pray in the Spirit" (Ephesians 6:18, Jude 1:20). Therefore, we need to learn what that means and how to do it so we can be obedient:

  5. Many Christians believe that all spiritual gifts are still available today (including healings, miracles, prophecies, and speaking in tongues), and they're usually referred to as "charismatics." All other Christians are usually referred to as "cessationists" because they believe that some spiritual gifts ceased or died out after the first century. This article shows that all of the gifts of the Spirit are still available today and that cessationism is a lie from the devil and a form of last-days apostasy (a falling away from proper beliefs):

  6. The Lord wants you to participate in the great last-days revival, seeing miracles, healings, and multitudes of people receiving salvation. True revival can only happen when proper doctrines, views, and practices are restored or brought back to life in the church. This article provides a short summary for most of the doctrines and issues that the Lord wants you and your church to believe. By reading my book and correcting your views on the issues described in this article, God will be able to work through you to do miraculous things during this world-wide revival for Jesus' glory in the very, very short amount of time remaining before Jesus returns:

  7. A covenant is a contract or an agreement between two parties, such as between God and humans. Some of God's covenants are still in force, so it's important to understand how they affect us today. For example, after the cross, no one is required to obey any of the 613 commands in the Old Covenant and the Law of Moses, and no one can sin by breaking or violating any of those 613 commands (such as the Ten Commandments, the tithing laws, the kosher dietary laws, or the Sabbath laws):

  8. Almost one-third of the Bible deals with prophecy. Prophecy is very important to God, so it should be very important to us as well. For example, certain prophecies tell us that all Christians will give an account of ourselves to the Lord, and we will be given rewards or suffer loss in heaven after Jesus returns for us (as explained in the first link below). We're told that Jesus will return in the end-times, and the end-times began with a specific event early in the 20th century (as explained in the second link below). Step by step, the world is shaping itself into an exact picture of the end-times world described throughout the Bible (as explained in the second link below), so Jesus could return at any moment. To learn how close we might be to the Rapture, see the intended impact of my book:

For the glory of the Lord Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God, who came in the flesh, was delivered over to death for our sins, and was raised to life for our justification.

"Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit." (1 Corinthians 12:3)

"Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist - denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also." (1 John 2:22-23)

"If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God." (1 John 4:15)

"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world." (1 John 4:1-3)

"And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist." (2 John 1:6-7)

"He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification." (Romans 4:25)
